No, the High Commission cannot help applicants get a visa for another country. Applicants are advised to contact the Embassy or check the official website of the country in which they wish to apply for a visa.

- I am only renewing my passport not applying for a new one, which form do I complete?

- How can I apply for a business Visa?
Applications for Business Visas are to be submitted online to the Immigration Support Services of Guyana at eServices (iss.gov.gy)
- Do I need any vaccinations to enter Guyana?
Travellers from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission (with the exception of Argentina, Paraguay, Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago) should have their Yellow Fever Vaccination cards to show at the port of entry in Guyana.
- Can someone else apply for a visa on my behalf?
Visa applications can be submitted in person or via Courier. For in person applications, the applicant is expected to submit their own application. If unforeseen circumstances arise, the applicant is advised to contact the High Commission for guidance.
- Can someone else collect the visa/passport on my behalf?

- Can I get a visa upon arrival in Guyana?
Yes, applicants can choose to apply for a visa-on-arrival by visiting the online visa portal of the Immigration Support Services of Guyana at eServices (iss.gov.gy) . Successful applicants will be emailed an approval letter by the Immigration Support Services which must be used for travel to Guyana. Upon arrival at the port of entry, the relevant visa will be issued.
Applicants must note that these applications are not monitored by the High Commission and as such our office would not have any updates on the status of these applications. Contact must be made directly with the Immigration Support Services in this instance.
- What forms of payments are accepted at the High commission?
The High Commission accepts payments by Cash, Card, Bank Transfers and British Postal Orders. The Card payments are only for applicants who appear in person at our office. The details for bank transfers are sent to the applicants after the High Commission receives the official documents/relevant application.
